Operation Restart North Lakes
Dear Church Family
Karly and I cannot begin to express the degree to which we miss you all and just how proud of our church family we are. While this pandemic may have interrupted some of our temporal plans, it has in no way interrupted God's eternal plan. Our church has continued to grow in faith, maturity and love for one another. And we have continued to proclaim the good news of Jesus to unchurched people.
In hopeful anticipation, we have begun to meet, pray and seek wisdom for our gatherings in the weeks and months ahead as restrictions start to ease. We are incredibly grateful for the technology available that allows us to gather online. God has provided many new opportunities through this technology, and we will seek to explore new ways of utilising this in our future as a church. However, we are markedly aware of its limitations and God's call for the church to
24 … consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, 25 not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near. Heb 10:24–25.
There is something powerful in the gathering of the church. God promises to meet with and minister to us through it. And we cannot wait for operation restart to begin.
WHAT IS THE PLAN?
Stage 1 - Now
As you will see from the graphic attached, we are currently in Stage 1. Throughout the next few weeks, we will continue to gather online for Sundays and Huddles. However, we encourage households to invite a few people to watch church online together.
Stage 2 - June 14
From June 14, Church Online will continue on Sunday mornings; however, we will begin to meet in person within our huddles. Each huddle is made up of different people with different contexts, needs and spaces to meet. Therefore each group will determine what best suits, whether they meet in person, continue to utilise online tools or some combination of the two. Check with your huddle leaders as to the plan for your huddle.

Stage 3 - July 12
From July 12 we hope that we will be able to begin live in-person services, with the addition of some form of streaming. Due to the government guidelines, we can accommodate a maximum of 100 people (with social distancing and hygiene protocols in place). We are currently prayerfully discussing what the best way forward is come July and we will keep you updated well before we kick-off.
We are incredibly excited for church gatherings to restart. We pray that we would not waste what God is doing in our hearts now, to prepare us for our future together.
