Where Can You Serve?

SERVING IS ONE OF THE GREATEST WAYS TO GET CONNECTED AND PLUGGED IN AT CHURCH.

We believe that deeper relationships are built when we serve each another, alongside one another. We don’t say this just to get more people on the roster; we genuinely believe that the path towards greater connection involves serving. See more about getting connected here. 

AREAS WHERE YOU CAN SERVE:

Connect Team. This is a team that essentially fills all the gaps on a Sunday; from setting up chairs, to sorting out supper, welcoming people, running the elevator, and packing up afterwards. We generally want all newcomers to begin serving on this team so that you can get an idea of how we roster people and the way we communicate that, and it also gives us the opportunity to gauge where the best place for you to serve the church is.

Life Kids and Crèche. These aren’t baby-sitting programs; we are committed to discipleship for our kids, and we want them to learn and grow in their understanding of Jesus. We want our teams to be passionate about this as well. All Life Kids volunteers need to have current and approved Blue Cards, and need to be vetted by LCC Leadership.

Music. At LCC one of our key values is worship. In fact we would go so far as to say that worship is more than a value, it’s even more than something we do. It’s who we are. We are worshippers! This means that we want our teams to not only be competent in their skills as musicians and singers; we want them to be passionate about the glory of God. Completing the Gospel Partnership course is mandatory for everyone in music.
